This special design feature of this series is the incorporation of an internal high pressure carbon dioxide cartridge. A sharp blow on the striker knob releases the gas into the surrounding dry powder filled cylinder and discharges the hose, aerating the dry powder as it becomes pressurized. Discharge of the extinguishing dry powder jet is controlled by using the lever valve at the hose nozzle.

Being easily portable, the extinguisher can be carried to the best position in attacking fire, and once there, the operator can vary the discharge, including complete interruptions, if desired, to meet the changing needs of the fire situation and to get optimal results.

The cylinders of these models have bursting pressure much above the average. This guarantees their uniform and unexcelled performance. Further, each individual cylinder is fully tested with compressed liquid during manufacture. Thereafter, their continuing strength is assured by their coating of electrostatic polyester powder – a special feature which we supply without extra charge – giving them optimal protection against corrosion.

By then baking it at over 200°C, we obtain extremely good characteristics and a long life for the dry powder extinguisher.
