AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) is an extinguishant which seals the burning surface against re-ignition. It is mainly intended for fires in petrol, oil, and other liquids, but is also highly effective against fires in wood, textiles, and other materials.
Discharge is controlled via a handy pistol gun with a special foam-making branch pipe, providing rapid knock-down effect on surface fires. Cylinders have bursting pressures well above average, made from high-quality steel and internally coated for corrosion protection.
Externally, cylinders are coated with electrostatic polyester powder, oven-baked at 180°C, and equipped with rust-free quick-opening brass valves incorporating safety valves.
