Halon 1211 (BCF) Fire Extinguishers are specially designed for heavy
duty.
Halon 1211 (BCF) is a liquefied gas which boils at very low
temperature (-4oC) and attacks fire by interfering chemically
with the combustion process and it is super-pressurised with
dry nitrogen to provide a longer throw and powerful discharge.
Halon 1211 (BCF) is a quick acting and highly effective extinguishing
agent. It leaves no trace and will remain effective even in places
which are not easily accessible. Halon has a low toxicity although
if used in a confined area normal ventilating procedures should
be followed after the fire has been extinguished.
The major characteristics and technical features of these extinguishers
are:
|
Ready for instant use and simple to operate. |
|
Fully controllable rust-free quick opening release brass
valve gives easy operation and also incorporates a safety
valve. |
|
Exceptional fire quenching ability due to the usage of
Halon 1211(BCF). |
|
Tough construction, manufactured to conform to the highest
quality specifications. |
|
Internal pressure can be checked on gauge. |
|
Minimal servicing requirements. |
Pressurized cylinders need to be well made.
The cylinders of these models have bursting pressure much above
average. Furthermore, each cylinder is fully tested with compressed
liquid during manufacturing.
The cylinders have been painted with electrostatic
polyester powder, oven baked at 180o C.
